Gettin' Jiggy With It.

So I've finally uncrated my Anvil frame jig. It came with a receiver thingy that can be mounted to a bench top. I went ahead and built a rolling stand for it so I can move it around the shop with ease.

Hellracer 4 Trophys

I made these trophys for Hellrcer 4 Halloween alleycat race. I know they're a lot like the SWICA ones but these were a bit taller and were rusted with acid and then waxed with paste wax. A real nice patina I think.

I was commissioned to make 42 trophy's for the South West Idaho Cycling Assoc. 

Hey, Nice Rack!

I built this Contractor/ Lumber/ Ladder Rack for Dustin's Ford truck. It is one stout number. The back cross bar is removable and stays in place via these little t-handled screw thingys. I like it. When it gets back from powder coat I will put up some more photos of it all finished. 

Left Field.

So I get a call from my buddy Jon and the first thing he says is "You don't have a camera on your phone." I'm like, "I know". So he says "I'm sending you an email right now". So I fart around for a minute and get ready to go on a ride. He calls back, "Did you check your email?". I'm all, like, "Oh, not yet" then he's all, "Check it I'm going to work, Don't worry about it". Shit OK, what's going on? So, I check my email and find this photo.

This was a totally unexpected and pleasant suprise. Nuts. I just don't know what to say. Check out Jon's blog for more pics and awesomeness.

Another Mixte Needs a Rack.

 I brazed rack bosses and filled the head badge holes on this Schwinn Mixte frame. I also spaced the rear end to accept a Nexus eight speed hub and aligned 'er up good.

  On another matter, I'll have the lounge set up at the workshop as soon as some folks donate a couch and a mini-fridge or two. I have a rug and a TV with VCR. I suppose I'll have to find a DVD player somewhere too. Nudge, Nudge.
