Another Mixte Needs a Rack.

I brazed rack bosses and filled the head badge holes on this Schwinn Mixte frame. I also spaced the rear end to accept a Nexus eight speed hub and aligned 'er up good.
On another matter, I'll have the lounge set up at the workshop as soon as some folks donate a couch and a mini-fridge or two. I have a rug and a TV with VCR. I suppose I'll have to find a DVD player somewhere too. Nudge, Nudge.

SIGNAGE.

I've been at my new shop digs for a month now and have been doing some random fab work here an there while trying to get the space set up for bike production. I, sadly, still have a ways to go. Exciting news, however, is that John Yarnell from Classic Design Studio installed the sign work on my door yesterday. So now if you find yourself in beautiful Garden City and are in my neck of the wood you'll know which unit I'm in. Cool. Which leads me to where I can be found. I am at the industrial complex at 511 E. 46th St. #16 in the G.C. at around Veterans Parkway and Adams between State St. and Chinden. If you'd like to come by for a visit give me a ring at 208.447.9264. I'm usually there on the days I'm not at the bike shop Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and sometimes on Sundays before polo. I'd love the company.

Christmas in July

So I got home from work at the bike shop tonight to find this crate waiting for me. In the crate was my new Anvil Frame Fixture (jig). Ain't she beautiful?

Big Willy Style

I built this entertainment center and end table for my friend Will. The awesome stained wood was his idea. He bought the wood he wanted and after we cut it to fit he stained it himself. Good work.

Mixte needs a rack.

This sweet Nishiki Mixte frame came through my shop needing rack bosses.  Anything I can do to help. Totally.

Projects Past.

This is the sink base I did for the Inkvision Tattoo clean room a few months ago. I didn't make the stainless steel sink, just the base complete with expanded metal shelving and leveling feet.

I built the radiused frame for this counter at Georges Cycles. Jason Bauer put on the counter top and the perforated steel face. Pretty sweet. I think I traded this for a pair of cycling shoes and a service tab that I owed.
